Description

Vine and wine delight is an UNFORGETTABLE experience at the heart of Narbonne's winegrowing heritage, ideal for a family outing. It's a complete tour, from the vine to the glass of wine... and juice ! You'll be welcomed to an estate whose history has been inextricably linked to that of the region for centuries.

We'll start with a walk through the vineyards, where you'll observe the nature of the soils, the characteristics of the grape varieties, the cycles of the vine and the climatic conditions that affect its development. An exploration of the wonders of nature in a peaceful landscape !
We'll meet the winemaker or owner of the estate, who will share with us the secrets of his (or her) passion. You'll understand the stages involved in transforming the grapes into a refined nectar : an art - because the winegrower is an artist using a range of skills - that will give you a real feel for the notion of terroir.
You'll discover the estate's emblematic wines during a sensory tasting session, and enjoy the characteristic aromas and flavours in harmony with delicious snacks, carefully selected to complete your adventure in a gourmet universe.
Children are not forgotten, with fun activities during the walk, a booklet for young vineyard explorers (in three languages) and a tasting of local fruit juices.

VINE AND WINE DELIGHT : €50/adult - €25/child (under 12)
Price includes : guided tour of the vineyards, visit to the winery, tasting of 4 wines and 2 juices for children, generous slates of regional products, a booklet for the children
Booking required : at least three days before the date
Participants : minimum 6 - maximum 16
We reserve the right to cancel the event if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
NB : The choice of the estate will depend on the availability of the winemaker on the day of your visit.
The estates are all within a 20-35 minute drive of Narbonne.

Practical information

- Date and venue to be agreed - Proposed dates on Tuesdays
- Departure time : 9 a.m. sharp
- Meeting point : Maraussan car park, boulevard Maraussan - Narbonne at 8h45 !
- You can also contact me the day before to find out which estate we will be visiting to meet us on site.
- Duration (on site) : 3 hours
- Languages spoken on the tour : French - English - German
- The activity is suitable for all types of walkers and wine lovers. Children will taste local fruit juices.
- The slates of regional products include charcuterie, cheese, tapenade, bread, dried fruit, olives, jam and other delicacies. People with gluten intolerance are invited to bring their own bread.
- Comfortable footwear is recommended. And in summer, don't forget your bottle of water, hat and sun cream - you've chosen our region for its generous sunshine !
